I am truly honored and thrilled to share with you all that I had the privilege of being interviewed by Michael Kurima for a feature article in the San Diego Union Tribune, which was published on September 21st, 2023!
The article highlights my journey and involvement with two incredible organizations, Fresh Start Surgical Gifts (at Rady Children’s Hospital) and the Scripps Mercy Outreach Surgical Team (MOST). As an oculofacial plastic surgeon, I've been fortunate to work alongside a great number of selfless healthcare professionals to provide volunteer oculofacial surgery and humanitarian support to those who lack access to essential medical care, both here at home and abroad.
This journey has been incredibly fulfilling, allowing me to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need. It's a reminder of the importance of giving back and using our skills to make the world a better place.
